1: Does the radio set include the programming cable?
No.
2: How to activate the VOX Function?
The VOX hand free function only can be activated or deactivated by software with the programming cable.
3: Can I use the headset to achieve the VOX (voice activate transmission)?
Yes, you can speak directly to the headset microphone after you have opened the VOX function.
4:How about the talk range?
Talk Range depend on many factors, like the RF power, obstacles, weather, battery power and so on. Usually RB18/RB618 can reach 0-1.5 km in the city area,0-2.5Km in the village area.
5: How to lock channel ?
Long press the LAMP key, then the lock is on .You cannot change the channel when the lock is on.
6: How can I know the battery is full charged?
On the back side of the RB18/618,When the device was charging, the LED indicator turn red; and when the battery is full charged, the LED indicator turn green.
7: How to turn on the flashlight?
Power on the RB18, short press LAMP key to open the flashlight. Short press LAMP key again to turn off the flashlight.
8: How to turn on the Scan function?
In the standby mode, press UP+DOWN to enter scan function, the green indicator light is blink quickly, the radio scans between the added channels. When a valid voice signal is scanned, it automatically stays in this state until the signal disappears. Press any key to exit scan mode.
10: How to choose the matching headset?
RB618/18 is compatible with 2Pin K plug accessories.
11: How to change the voice language?
Press PTT+DOWN to open the radio, changing the Chinese/English prompt voice.
